A Week Away From Departure

At last, we are a week away from leaving for China to bring Anna home. After our initial referral delay, a dear friend encouraged us by saying, "A few additional days or weeks will be nothing compared to the lifetime of joy that begins at the end of the wait." (Little did we know, that wait would last almost three years!) As we wrap up this leg of the journey and begin this new chapter as a family of four, we have so very much to celebrate- most especially each other, our sweet Daniel, and our extraordinarily supportive family members and friends! We can't wait to get our arms around our precious answered prayer.

Yay! At last you will feel those tiny little baby Anna fingers and toes and nuzzle your nose to hers! I cannot believe you leave so soon, yet you(and the rest of us) have waited so long... In my heart I know that God has created this very special child for your very special family. One week! Oh the joy of the anticipation! It is goning to be sweet. Very Sweet! Love you, Sarah D.

It is unreal to think that you are a week away from hopping on your plane to CHINA! And when you return home, you will have a sweet baby girl in your arms! Oh, what fun and special times you have ahead of you. If we could all be there to see you when you first lay your eyes on Anna . . . we'll be praying for you the whole time. We love you, Elizabeth, John, Daniel, and Anna!

We are thrilled to be a part of your travels. Thank you for including us. We are so excited for you and John. I am sure this time before you leave is chaotic but remember "He" is with you and will give you peace. We are so anxious to meet long awaited Anna. God has his own timing. We have already started to pray for your travels, your first moments with Anna, and the hoops you will have to jump through in China to finalize everything. Miller will be sure to give all the support Daniel needs while you are gone. He is already excited about lots of play dates. Traveling mercies for all of you! We love you. Cassie, Will, Carter, Miller, and Hunter

For the last three years, every time I have heard a story about an adoption, I have thought about your family and tears have filled my eyes. Now that "Ladybug" has a name, my heart is filled with joy, and I cannot wait to see Anna with my own eyes. What a blessing from God! Love, Cora and Jim Ligori

Got your message regarding Blogger. I have a friend who is in China right now and she is posting on her blog. I dropped her a line to see if she was having any issues so I'll let you know!
